Two basic designs of the TDS Teak Panels are available:
- TDS EXTERIOR DECKING
- TDS INTERIOR FLOORING
1. TDS EXTERIOR DECKING
TDS exterior decking is watertight. All joints and seams are caulked with
flexible oxime rubber compound (TDS TEAK CAULKING SIS 440). The panels can be
supplied with the battens straight (S) or curved (C) to meet the customer's
requirements (the 4" width is available as straight only).

2. TDS INTERIOR FLOORING
For interior areas, the flexibility of TDS Systems makes it
possible to assemble different kinds of wood to provide enhancing accents of
beautiful woods to the environment you have in mind. TDS interior flooring is
for indoor use only.

Interior flooring can also be used for bars, desktops and
enhanced with custom inlay work. Our interior flooring is for the discriminating
designer and buyer. All kinds of exotic woods have been used, including: Teak /
Ash / Cherry / Mahogany / Makore / Maple / Purpleheart / Paulope / Pyinkado /
Walnut. The joints in the deck can be designed to create various patterns. Seams
can, as an alternative to wood, be filled with black, white or any color of
epoxy. Like the TDS teak exterior decking, TDS interior flooring can be built as
straight or curved decking.
BACKING
Straight Decking: Panels are mostly backed with
fiberglass roving to provide minimum weight.
Curved Decking: If the deck is to be made with curved
battens to follow the curve of the hull or cabin house, we use a 1mm thick phenolic backing.
